About Cockfield
Cockfield is situated in West Suffolk, about 6 miles south of the market town of Bury St Edmunds, and close to historic Lavenham. It is a large and scattered village consisting of a series of hamlets grouped round its many greens, and the church. About 750 people live in the community. Cockfield is an active village with many flourishing organisations, clubs and societies including the Parish Council and Community Council.
